Cedar Lake help

I’m looking for a little help with information for Cedar Lake. I moved to Star Prairie recently and just got a boat this spring. I would like to be able to catch a few walleyes on Cedar since it is only a couple miles away, but the three times I have been there I have gotten skunked. I am not an experienced angler and I am getting frustrated with this lake. Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated.
