Pine Lake Crappies

    My son caught this Crappie on Pine Lake in St Croix County. We had at least 100 panfish in the boat last Saturday. Most were small, and this was this biggest, but a lot of hand sized sunnies, and crappies. What a great way to spend the day!

    WHich Pine Lake? The one by Somerset or the one by Baldwin? Looks like the one by Baldwin as the water color is green.

    It was the one by Somerset. The picture was taken in the 3rd bay area, and the water was really green.
    We had an absolute blast. Once I remembered to put the plug in the boat that is!
    I think we definitely created a fisherman out of him that day. I can’t wait until he’s old enough to start fishing some tourneys with me. Probably about 4 years away!
