sand lake HWY 40 help with the eyes

    Hello
    I have a friend with a cabin on sand off of HWY 40 chippewa rusk line I would like to catch some eyes all I can catch is bass any help would be apprecated

    Kevin, I’ve never fished the lake, but I like to look at lake maps and guess where there might be some eyes. Since nobody else replied, heres my .02. I would first try NE of the Wooded Island in the NE corner of lake, between the rock pile and the island, in the 15′ water. Next I would try just to the south and east of there, along the east shore, where the water goes from 5′ to 40′ rather quickly. I would try jigging these areas, and maybe if the wind was right, dragging a lindy rig along the east shore in the NE corner. Good luck and let me know how you do !!!
