Fish a bit around those parts… Busky Bay and the other lakes on the Pike Lake Chain will treat ya right for a multitude of species… In general, walleyes and smallmouth are some of the better fishing in the chain.. Along with some decent panfish action and musky too…

Clear.. Very clear water.. Where in Busky Bay, the lake is basically a bowl, with a constant weedline around it… So concentrait your efforts, especially for walleyes on the new, upcoming weed edge… The Busky Bay side of the inlet from Millicent Lake is a good bet for some walleye action.. Jig em up or throw out some slips…

Hart and Millecent are also good walleye lakes, with more structure to concentrait on… If theres structure, the fish will be on it.. Rock or gravel to sand or soft bottom transitions… Live bait rig em… Hart has a good smallmouth population as well, and will use the same areas (but shallower due to their upcoming spawn) then the walleyes..

For Twin Bear… Cribs for the most part dictate a lot of my fishing there.. Cant give those out though.. But there is structure to work here as well for walleyes and smallies… Better size for each species in this lake in my own opinion…

For Eagle.. Weeds dictate the bite here.. for all species.. Good cabbage growth, you will find the walleyes, musky, and panfish.. Including some decent largies as well.. Walleyes in Eagle I think are the biggest of the chain…

For trout fishing in the streams.. dont do much of it.. So not much help there..

Hello all. Im heading up to Iron River again. How did everyone do last weekend? I have a place right off of Ruth, fished it a few weeks ago and caught 9 large mouth. Been getting Wallys down here in Appleton area off jig and leach. What seems to be working there? We are prob heading to the chain since we haven’t fished it before. Thank you much…happy fishin.
