    Allright! Another Wisconsin guy…I think that makes two of us now! Welcome to the site. what part of the state do you typically fish in?

    Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I plan on fishing a couple of lakes in the Minong area for the opener weekend. One lake is a stained color and has a great mid day walleye bite and another is gin clear and is good for an evening bite. I often fish the Birchwood, Stone Lake and Minong areas. If the walleye bite is slow I will move on to other species since I also love to fish Largemouth and crappie,,,, yikes,, I can hardly wait.
