fishing action

That picture was from last week. Thursday sure found a change in location. With the high and dirty water flowing I opted for jigging plastics. This tactic worked well last time we had major water moving through. The key again was 10 to 13 ft. current breaks. The darker colored doos produced the best.
Good news for you guys down stream! Friday the flow was getting back to normal, and you could dirft the current. The best action though, was trolling the main lake basin. 8 to 10 ft depths , long lining Reef Runners produced the best action. Bigger pike and white bass were on a bite.
I will talk to you from Osakis and Gull in a couple of days. See ya on the water.

Had a chance to get out this morning. Found the most action off the first drop on the main lake. Eyes, pike and bass on spinners, and cranks. The Reef Runners again were the top producers. Perch or chartreuse seemed to get the most attention. Today we were longlining the cranks and running the spinners on 3ways.
    See ya on the water.
