went fishing with my Honey today… and instead of the river we opted for a nearby lake.. the water temps were 62 and we eventually found a place where the crappies were staging up big time… out on weed flats.. they were right on top.. a fly rod would have slaughtered them… but we did ok with very light jigs….. I saw one fish that would have easily been over 2#… but most were in the 8-10″ (1/3-1/2#) range…. here is my Honey hoisting a nice 12 incher…
