Comming home from Green Bay Sunday, traffic was backed up for quite a way where the Wolf River crosses Hwy 54. Must have been more than 1000 people,(no kidding) standing along the river where it makes a sharp 90 degree bend. Parked the car and went to take a look. They were spawning. I watched about 8 of them, backs out of the water at times. What a sight! The biggest had to be 6 feet long. I don’t know if they are still going at it but it would be worth checking out if anyone is heading in that direction.
