Any body out there fish Half moon (in Eau Claire) I usually go once a week just to kill time. I was wondering is it best to go across from the cemetery or worth the walk, or is it just small bluegills everywhere? Also people claim to catch walleye’s on the other end of the lake (SE corner), has anyone ever verified that?? Right now you might need a boat to get there.

Walleys, Pike, Dogfish and Bullheads are all to be caught on Tip ups on half moon.
I’ve been by there the past two days, taking my 2-yr old to feed the ducks.
Right now, there is PLENTY of open water around. Some by the Brauns Bay dock, more by the rod and gun club park , and tons by the bubblers by lakeshore school. Be VERY careful if heading out there in the near term.
Yeah all the places you stated have aerators at the bottom.
