I’m looking at a house that is on the Apple River west of Somerset. Anyone know how the river is after all of the tubers get out? How is the water? Is there any decent fishing? Any info would be great!
    Thanks,
    Steve

    Good one jake!

From what I’ve heard, the fishing can be really good where it comes into the Croix but I think the Apple current is pretty strong leading up to that point. Haven’t been down that way since I was a kid so it’s hard for me to discern the reality of my memory banks!! Anyway, most people fish where the two rivers meet if they’re targeting the Apple in that area, according to those I’ve encountered.
