High Falls/Caldron Fall Flowages??

    Will be heading to this area next weekend for deer opener… wondering if I should tow the boat to maybe get some time out fishing as well? Any feedback as to whether it is/will be iced over or if the water is open, if the fish are biting would be greatly appreciated.

    We got 8″ of snow tonight…Wisc firearm deer season does not open until Nov 18(I’m sure you meant the weekend after this one)….Mich opens next Wednesday (Nov 15).

    Our lakes are starting to ice up here (30 miles North). I think it will be an “iffy” bite with winter transition under way.

    Thanks for the feedback… yeah, I meant the weekend of the 18th. Heading up Thursday night… can’t wait!!! After reading your post and gathering a bit more info, I’ve decided to leave the boat in the garage. This way, I’ll be able to fully focus on the deer!
