This photo come’s to us from Philip Stoeberl. He fishes mostly around the Rice Lake area and anywhere else these large toothy beasts can be located. This one happens to be from Sand Lake and is 47 inch’s. A photo was snapped and the fish released to fight again. Thanks for the photo Philip.
Would this be the Sand Lake just north and east (I think) of the town of Turtle Lake? Nice fish!!
Philip are you out there yet? I’m trying to get him posting. I guess I’ll just have to twist his ARM. I think that this Sand lake is just west of Big McKenzie. Did you see the ones from the flowage,and Rice Lake. Nice fish for sure. My favorite is the one his Son caught. I’ll check for sure on which Sand this is for you. Steve
