Menomin Ice

Ice is anywhere from a few inches to a foot. If your near the channel which winds through lake it is only a few inchs thick. I did see vehicles on the ice and for the most part they were staying just out from the landings. I did see two vehicles drive across the lake and they must have went across the channel somewhere in there travels. I leave my pickup on shore and walk everywhere pulling my Otter sled and portable (cabin model) with everything I need. I may start carrying a 50 foot rope in case it’s needed. The fish were not to be found but it was a nice day out and I had a great walk. Make sure you bring your boot chains and cleats as there is no snow on the ice.Steve
