Well I wish I had a good report to put out here but NOOOOOOO.I met up with Stillakid yesterday afternoon up at Island Lake and we went out to give it a try. We had the scoop on where there was a couple of cribs in about 13.5 feet of water and I thought we would get some nice crappies, perch, or a walleye or two. All we could manage was about 3 or 4 smaller perch. A friend that let us access the lake from his house brought out a Aqua View camera and put us right on the cribs. We fished untill just about dark and boy did the fog roll in. Oh well you don’t always catch them and it was fun trying, thanks for the company Stillakid. Steve

We shoulda took a pic of that fog that rolled in! That was some pretty cool/weird/almost eery type stuff. Woulda made better viewing than the Dufous in the first post! That’ll learn me to “fix” the camera next time!

It was cool just hanging out trying to survive that ice! Slick stuff! We’ll have to try again sometime!

No deer Sunday………….not even a track! I’ll have to try and figure out where they all went so I’ll have some idea for next year’s late season…………of course, the ideal plan is to NOT NEED the late season! I’ll have help next year though! My oldest will be 12!
