ICE on Menomin

I had to take a break from hunting and check to see if anyone was fishing on Menomin yet. Yep their out there. I asked a couple of guys how thick the ice was and they said anywhere from not enough (two guys fell through along the shore I guess the leaves on the ice isn’t good) to 3 inches. I guess they are getting a few gills and by this time next week we should have enough ice for me to venture out a couple of feet from shore. See attachment to view a few brave souls. The lighting wasn’t the best but it will have to do. Got to get to my deer stand. Later Steve

The areas I hit today on the main lake had 5.5 inches of ice. I forgot to put that in my report.
