Don’s Menomin Lake EYE’s

That Don sure has been busy fishing huh er working that’s it. He’s been putting in some time doing what he likes doing best. Jigging Verticle and staying on top of the active ones. I’ve shared a boat with Don in the past and plan on getting out with him again in the near future. He is a master of boat control and I plan on learning some more of his secrets. I stopped by his place on the way through town and he gave me some recent photo’s to play with on the scanner and computer. This photo’s are a couple of the ones he was talking about in his last lake report. A 27 incher and a couple smaller one 20 plus inch. All released to fight again. Steve

Here’s another nice shot of Don with a real beauty of a fish. This one was also released to grow into a larger specimen. At 27 plus inches it won’t be long before its a real hog. That vertical jigging is doing the trick. I guess it’s almost time to get after those lake fish so Don isn’t out there all by himself. LOL

Last photo of the day. Another nice eye from Menomin Lake. Hey Don hows the perch bite going lately. I suppose fishing and catching nice eye’s like these makes it a little hard to go after the perch. Lets get together next week and do a photo shoot of some of the jumbo’s if there biting. Steve
