Went out yesterday and figured if I was going to be miserable at home I should just be miserable fishing! Yeah…………that’s the ticket! I was in my little inflatable so I didn’t wander too far from the landing and set my sites on bullheads…………..catch some flathead bait! Managed “0” bullheads, 1 smallie, 6 perch, 8 sunnies, and 4 crappies just drifting around. Needed a longer shank hook for those sunnies! Little buggers were inhaling the worm and THAT was the bobber movement! Went to a bigger hook to quit injuring the runts and that caused a cajillion ta-ta-ta-taps! Oh well, easy fix! One container of long shank 8’s coming up! Didn’t stay out long enough to try the evening bite…………..storm was moving in anyway. BAITFISH EVERYWHERE!!!!
