Milwaukee River Smallies

    Took a lunch break for some fishing. Got to a spot what allowed shore access and decent holding water. Picked up 7 smallies in 20 minutes with the biggest at 14. I know there are larger than that in the area I was fishing as I had one jump and throw the hook. Wish I had some boot for wading. A great time had in a short fishing spell.

    Man can those smallies pull – especially in rapid. I was using spinners.

    Z-man you gotta get out with me on this fun.

    Needed a break again. Headed out at lunch time. Picked up about 20 smallies. No size but fun. Biggest 12 inches and a jumper.

    Not the big reports you see on this site but you gotta take what you can get.

    Way to go…sounds to me like you need to run some extended errands for the bass, I mean boss, just before or after lunch.
