Good day for smallies

    After the storms cleared sat. morning me and my buddy decided to hit one of the local rivers for some smallmouth. When I show up I notice the river has jumped quite a bit from the recent rains but I was confident I could put some in the boat. About an hour later I finally figure out the pattern, sweet beavers pitched under the overhanging brush. It was not a numbers day but all the fish were in the 15-16 in range with the exception of him.
    19 inches, over 4 lbs.

    Beats sitting on that hard seat for 4+ hours.

    Stay away from that river mack, your RP won’t fit on it
