    Greetings from Wigwam Resort on beautiful Lake of the Woods in Baudette, MN.

    The bite up here has been absolutely fabulous. Downrigging we have been using a #5 Shad Rap. The darker colors seem to be doing the best, purples, blues and even browns in about 30 FOW.

    Bait fishing they are a little shallower. 25 FOW with light colored spinners, pink and white, yellows and orange seem to be the ticket.

    We are so excited about the bite up here we would like to offer you this special. Our lodging is usually $45. Per person per night but we are offering it to you for $50. per person for 2 nights. All you have to do is mention you saw it on IDA.

    How far in advance do you typically need reservations at this time of year?

    Are you going to be running any winter specials? Do you have plowed roads or track van?

    They don’t have their own plowed road, but the resort just down the road does and it goes right by the Wigwam. Very convenient!

    The Wigwam does have nice tracked rigs to get your out there if you want to go that route.

    Right now we are pretty open so you can just give us a call and we’ll set you up.

    As far as ice fishing we haven’t even thought that far ahead. There are some weekends we are already booked solid. So even if you are thinking about heading North you should probably not wait too long.

    We do not have a plowed road. We use track vans, bombers and Sno Bears. They are awesome.
