I have a friend who needs some info on Shell Lake, he will going there on vacation in a week or so and wants to know what kind of fishing he can do there. He would like to target walleye, what presentations would be best? Trolling? Jigging? Lindy rig? What other fish are present in the lake if not walleye?

Real clear, some dandy smallies – shallow in spring is great, but in summer look to the cribs.Sort of bowl shaped. Finnese plastics , drop shot , or small tubes/reapers. in green pumkin or pumkinseed colors. Split shoting with a leech when all else fails. 6lb. florocarbon line. Give the docks a try if overcast or dawn or dusk. CPR ,and good luck
