Fish Creek/Stureon Bay Help

I will be going to Fish Creek in Door County in the middle of the month in Aug – I am having trouble finding someplace to stay that is cheap. Anyone know where I can check?

Door County WI in August and cheap do not compute. You will be hard pressed to find a room for less than $100 unless there are places that others know of and I am unaware of.

Ya, and to top it all off, there is a special packer game that weekend too that seems to be filling up the rooms. Finally found one for 45 a night a couple miles away.

I stayed at fish creek about three weeks ago- there is a hotel, that is directly southwest of the harbor, where all the non-fishing boats are parked. We payed about $60 bucks a night. I am sorry, I can’t remember the name of the hotel, and I can’t find my reciept. It is a two story hotel, with maybe twenty-thirty rooms. Very clean, and RIGHT on the water.

If you like to camp stay at the state camp ground. You might need to reserve, but they have nice showers and a boat landing, what more could you want! Fishing, camping and a Packer game. Do you have an extra ticket? I’ll supply the tents, cots, boat, etc.
