Well, “uncle” Gregg (Cameron’s uncle)got a new boat and so we had to take it out yesterday and get it dirty for the first time. The wind was on the light side when we first pulled out – we took a ride around the whole lake so I could point out some good spots for us to map. Once we decided what we wanted to fish for, we were off to a little island where we found what we were looking for – wind sweeped gills. The action was slow but once it turned on, it was great. It lasted for an hour until the wind really picked up and it was time to bring it in. All in all, it was a fun day and we hope to get Cameron in the boat soon. Sorry no pic’s – forgot to repack the digital camera back into the fishing bag.
