Arn’t mondays great

    After work on monday me and mbenson where talking about the front that was going to go through and where we should be fishing. My plan was to go chase eyes with the wife, and his was to go look for muskies.

    I pull up to a spot I know was holding eyes and start fishing. I look over the side of the boat and about 10 feet down is a what I though to be a upper 40″ muskie.
    I back off and fish a few other spots on the lake for a few hours. So at 730 I tie on a bucktail and run back to that spot. First cast and wham!!!! I couldn’t believe that it hit 5 cranks into the first cast. Here she is, my first 50+ fish. 51 inchs, with a 20 inch girth.

    Nice fish, I’ll bet if there were a lot of eyes in the area, I know what he’s been eating for dinner!
