Lac La Belle – Waukesha County Report

    Well, after spending the week trying to talk to Cameron about the boat and her walleye trip coming up, she did it!

    She got into the boat and did awesome.

    We started our morning at 5:30 and ended at 11:30.

    Score Card reads:

    Cameron got 12 walleyes

    Cheri got 3 walleyes

    We fished just along the weed edges in 9 to 17 feet of water. The day was very sunny and in the mid 60’s. Once the wind picked up about 8:00, the bite was on. We fished with leeches on jigs and jigged very slow.

    Cameron really enjoyed her morning fishing for walleyes and can’t wait to go again.

    Thats ok Bill, I got plenty of ribbing from Dennis and Cameron (she’s on his side now because he has a cool boat) for not getting as many fish – all in all it was a great time and it was all about Cameron – won’t have cared if I didn’t get any fish.
