Just thought I would see if any one was fishing lakes in Wisconsin. I’m fishing Menomin but only having success with

Perch I don’t know where the eyes are hiding but a mess of fried Perch is hard to beat.I think everyone must be out hunting I had the lake pretty much to myself yesterday. Perch are in about 7 to 8 feet of water and water temp is between 49 and 50 degrees.Walleyes should be biting. Maybe I’ll have to head up the Red Cedar towards Tainter.

I plan on fishing Bone Lake for Muskies soon. Bone is near Luck, WI. Bone is great after it turns over, which should have happened about now. Ever fish it? Hawger

Yep fish it for perch. I haven’t been up there in some time though. I usually ice fish it out by the island if you can get a vehicle down that far. The last few times I’ve been up there there’s been to much slush on the ice. I fish big round which is just a couple miles away and is a good lake to catch really big gills, perch, and walleye’s on. I don’t usually fish muskies. Good to here from you.

Wow! I am excited that you want to go… Yep, I do plan on doing Bone. First, I am waiting fro Chris Beeksma to give me the OK sign that it is the right time. He fishes/guides the lake a lot and tells me when it is best.

I would take my big boat (19ft Alumacraft) and most likely one, or both of my boys. Muskies seem to lingthen the fishing-attention span between the

Game Boy-athon they are constantly on. But there would be room for you seeing that the capasity for the boat is 10 persons.

I do a lot of live bait/sucker driftng, but throw some artificals too. I would do a Fri, Sat, and come home Sun run.

    I’ll keep you posted.

    Hawger
