COLD FISHIN BELOW PENTENWELL

Whent out at around 8am an it was cold and a little windy.

Caught 5 small walleye up to 12.Then the snow started coming down and the wind picked up(down right nasty).

I didn’t even bring out the camera to show you how bad it was.After an hour of nothing far from frost bite we headed back.I think i’m gonna wait a bit before going out there.The few guys we talked to only landed small ones also.

going out on the big pond this week maybe i’ll have some pics for you guys.

I knew where you were going to put the float in on the Rock R., but where’s the “big pond”? Also sounds like this weekend is the one you should hit the dam at the Pete. If the weather gets that nice, I bet it will be a zoo!!!

I call lake Michigan (THE BIG POND) and its a blast early in the spring for browns and steelhead.But i have not found out if the rock is still solid.

The rock As in rockriver.I grew up in rockford Ill and fished the rock a lot as a kid.Wasnt much good for anything but catfish back then but im sure they cleaned it up some.Or i hope they have

Thanks for the bad news .When i made it out on the wisco river last weekend i blew out my water pump,so no fishin on the big pond this weekend .Gotta get some parts and haul some butt on her and i should be after some browns in the middle of this week.Also fished at the rochester dam and caught about 2 dozen carp snagged another 3,and one small eye.Those carp are thick in there.

anybody out today. heading up in the morning to give it a try. the dells was pretty radical with all the boats today so i can just imagine what tomorrow will bring.
