I’ve been working straight twelves for a couple weeks and will continue to, but I need some reports to keep me going! I have off this weekend before I start all over, I know its been a little warm and the game season is shut down but this should be prime pan time and I know someone is out there killing the slob pans, throw me a freakin bone…..

I recently heard that there was a good bite of nice perch and gills on the 6 Lakes Chain up by Chetek. I don’t know this personally, just what friends of mine had said.

I also heard from a guide that they are getting large slabs from S Wi…eg Lake Geneva on the ice.

Thanks guys, I am heading out to Tuna town tommorrow morning for a little fun, I will set a couple tipups with small minnows, and jig for fish with my other line. I will be out by the cribs west of the park if anyone is going out.

Well I spent a few hours each day on Altoona and I got my fishing itch scratched, Tuna is doing great, Saturday was perch day, Sunday was crappie day, each day had a good mixture of sunnies, crappies and perch. I was not dissapointed, lots of ice out there so fishing should continue to pick up towards ice out, I bet we have atleast two to three soild weeks of ice left, as for me its back to the grind for a week or so….also it should be noted that the landings are getting to be in pretty poor shape and I would advise walking out instead of driving, its healthier and safer…
