Anyone Going Boat Fishing This Weekend???

    In view of the cold snap, do you think there is any chance of taking a boat out of Milwaukee into Lake Michigan or surrounding rivers this weekend??? Thanks

    Tomorrow’s forecast has -10 to -35 windchill. Even I plan to stay home next to the fireplace.

    Good time to try to rack up a few points with the wife. (knowing good and well that they will be burned as soon as possible )

    Hit the river downtown, water temps in the low 50’s. The discharge keeps the water around that temp. all winter. Bass, Walleye, pike, and Catfish can all be caught this time of year. Crankbaits and jigs tend to work best. Look for the bends in the river. Rock and wood are key. My hat off to you if you head out this weekend. Good Luck, Carl
