I will have the chance to fish Clam lake a few times this summer and I have never been there before.

I was wondering if anyone had any info on the area.

I have seen some pictures of some huge Walleye and Huge Musky taken from the area, So im getting excited!!
I Have only caught one musky before and it was little, and an accident.

Are there any bait stores in the area and which one would you suggest? And good food or bars in area.
Any info at all would be great !!

    Thanks

Are you talking the Clam Lake right by Siren? Just curious because I am currently considering a property that has frontage on Clam by Siren. My parents had a cabin in Grantsburg for years and my dad used to take me to Clam. We’d stop at the Holiday station in Grantsburg, get my pop and candy, my dad would get some nightcrawlers and beer and we’d take off for Clam Lake….He’d pull and pull and pull on the old Atwater and I’d be catching some darn nice fish right from shore!!! We usually did quite well on walleyes, once we got out on the lake itself! I’ve always heard there’s nice muskies in there. Beautiful area, you will like it even if the fish aren’t biting. As for the bars and resturants, any that I can remember are sadly probably gone by now? Good Luck, I hope good things happen for the both of us up on Clam
