Namekagon 22-25

    Heading up to Namekagon Oct. 22-25 for muskies…I was just curious if anyone knew what the water temps were and if the lake has turned over or not…or if it will by then…also if anyone knows where I can get ahold of a couple 10-14 inch suckers for a quick strike rig…

    Dont know what temps were on Namekogen, but Chequamegon was 52 degrees Saturday. The biggest thing up that way right now is how high the water is- rain from storms 2 weeks ago was anywhere from 7 to 10 inches and the water levels more like early spring, not fall. Rivers/streams look like coffee with cream.

    Pastikas or hayward bait will have all the suckers and rigs you want. Bait is a little scarce right on the lake. I think the Loon Saloon might have bait, but I don’t know about bigger suckers.
