    just was wondering if anyone knows where to find some smallmouths in west or northwest wisconsin this time of year?

    Definetly, the St. Croix, but if you’re near the Namakagan, “crawfish” colored tubes and cranks, a pair of tennis shoes, and we’re having fun. Walleyes and small northerns too.

    The Chippewa would be a good bet also.
