I kinda got the Musky bug after reading fellow EFN Staffer/Guide Chris Beeksma’s report on the hayward area over on FTL.
I’d like to share a beauty that was caught abd released by Todd Schoen from the mouth of the Menominee River near Marinette. This beauty was 52″long,26″girth and weighed 43#.He caught it on a black bucktail. So while the eyes haven’t got really going yet in this area, the Pike and Muskies are starting to cruise up the food chain.
I will be doing a shake down cruise with the new boat in the same area tomorrow and you can bet the big 400 calcutta reel, 7′ St, Croix Musky stick and the bucktail box will be on board.
Get out ther and GET FISHING!
