Fishing, (Guide trip), on Castle Rock Flowage Sunday was hard work, but productive. The Bridge on the yellow had tons of white bass and gave up some keeper walleyes,(rigging/jigging) , too. One nice northern came off the sandbar out in front of the point. Then up in the fingers and devil’s island we got tons of short bites , and finally boated a nice walleye keeper. The most productive area was the stump field where the river opens up. I guess all together about 6 walleyes and a bunch of slabs,( huge bull gills, and crappies), and a good number of bonus smallies. All areas were live bait, other than fingers and devils island, and there didn’t seem to be much of a preference between crawlers and leechs. In the stump field we were pitching small jigs and live bait. Lawrence Our Guide Pages
