There is a restaurant called Blink Bonnie about 10 miles to the east, best steak I ever had with shroons. Looks like a dive but wow what good food. The wait on Friday or Saturday night can be three hours……Never fished it though…..

    den:

big pike is right, Blink Bonnie’s is a great place to have a steak, but it is horribly busy. I never have fished it much although I lived in Minocqua for 11 years so I am aware of places to try. It is well known for its walleyes, perch, crappies and muskies. The lake is almost circular though the east half doesn’t rise as far north as the west. The west half is fairly deep with the deepest hole being just south of Buckhorn Point on the north side. There is something like 40-45′ in that spot. Almost straight to the south is the Center Bar. It raises up to nearly 10′ from the south side of the lake to the almost the north side. This can be one of the best places to fish for all species.

Send me a pm, let me know what you are fishing for and I will give ya little more detail.

Blink Bonnie’s is an excellent place, just get there at 4:30 if you want to eat by “normal” dinner time. Go on a Tuesday or Wednesday instead of the weekend. Big Arb-I’ve fished it a number of times. A lof of small walleyes if you can get them to cooperate. Some larger ones too, but very spooky. Try them at night. Good panfish in the bays and shorelines, look for wood in the water. Fish “Center Bar” for just about any species. Use live bait for the ‘eyes and panfish. Lots of muskies, great action lake. A few larger fish too. Let me know if you are looking for any other specific info.
