You can pick your poison right now !

Ringworms for casting shoreline early and late will produce some nice fish. SuperDoo’s fished verticle at the Dams will produce Sauger and occasional Walleye. Clarity of water is the determining factor for color selection. I have never tipped my ringy or kgrub with anything.

3-Waying Floating Raps with 3-4 OZ of weight will produce fish as well provided you find the correct speed.

Live bait jigging will also work at the dams but be prepared to throw alot back.

Pretty vague testimonial, but it is all in the technique as each situation will produce fish.

I don’t believe you should ever tip plastics with anyting either. There realy is no need for it. But I do recomend tipping bucktails with minows at times.

All great replies for sure !!

Another plastic bait coming into the market is the 3 1/4″ Paddletail. I have been selling a lot of these on line the past few months. I have had several people comment on them…just a thought for another tool in the bag…I know that Ace Hardware in Shelby Mall in LaCrosse has them as does Gander Mountain in Onalaska..
