The weather turned out really nice yesterday for a little panfishing with the brothers and nephews. White Ash had anywhere from 18-20+ inches in the areas we were at. The sunfish were hitting fast and hard very close to the bottom on teardrops tipped with waxies. My best luck was a small orange teardrop with 2 waxies jiggled up and down quickly, then lifting it approx. 2 inches and hold still, they would just pound it. Not allot of large ones but very many. Some small perch, a few crappies and a bonus northern.
Lots of people out, mostly on the east side near the steep bank in 5-7 feet.
Next weekend….Big Round!
Good luck all!!!
