I went up by Hayward fishing this last weekend. So much for the forcasted 72 degrees and partly cloudy . We did really good, but the pictures didn’t turn out that great because of the nice weather. I did get one picture of a nice largie. We caught a ton of 12″-16″ bass on leeches and bobbers. I also caught a few on by B Fish N ring worms and Storm worms. I was a little disappointed on the bluegill bite on this lake. It was known for nice gills and we only caught a dozen or so that were keepers. My girlfriend had a blast realing in the bass. It was the “dog days of summer” alright. Anyone else having any luck catching panfish on lakes?? I heard Marsh Miller in Chippewa County has been hit and miss and Big Round in Polk County too???
