Talk about a lot of backwater wow is that river high. We unloaded the boat in the parking lot and went out to see if some crappies could be found. Nope we couldn’t find them. A lot of grass, leaves branches, sticks ect floating around. My wife and I tried out near the river and then moved inland. We hit it a good two hours and then it started to rain. Saw a few fish jump near base of trees and pitched some ring worms but they wouldn’t have any part of them either. Oh well give it a few days so they can get used to the idea of not being in the main river and I’ll see what happens. Be carefull out there. We did see one airboat on the water and the main river has some very large trees that just pop up whenever they want to. Talk about a supprise that would be one. Doing 30 mph and have a tree grow right out of the water in front of you . Ahhhhhhhhh Oh well plenty of minnows left for the next trip. Steve
