Cedar Lake in St Croix County

Just wondering if anyone has been on Cedar fishing lately? I have an opportunity on Saturday to hit the lake, and was hoping to wet a line. Any information would be helpful!

I’d help you but so far that lake is really good at kicking my butt! 2 visits, 2 skunks. I haven’t figured out the bite there and I’ve had the displeasure of hearing everyone at the landing leave equally defeated. We all know there are fish in there and there’s always the chance at a trophy muskie but I haven’t figured it out yet. Given my results on other waters this year, I’m not so confident that I’ll get Cedar figured out either……. just too easy to go somewhere else.

Yeah, that’s been my experience too. Maybe I’ll just spend more time cruising, then fishing. I’ll try a few drifts over some humps if I can find them, and then pull the kids around in a tube! I’ll turn into that recreational traffic that I usually can’t stand.
I’ll let you know if I find anything.
