    I was out there earlier this year (about 4 weeks ago) and the weeds were getting pretty ridiculous. If you didn’t work the channel, you didn’t have much else and the traffic I saw that day (weekend) made staying in the channel kinda irritating. Granted, almost every boat I encountered seemed to know one of the other boats and they were all saying they were there because the lakes were “dead” that day. Infamous spring cold front conditions applied that day.

    The opportunities are there……….. but I’ve already opted for somewhere else.
