Has anyone pulled cranks in the fall at night for walleyes on the Bay? I was wanting to put together a trip this October during the full moon. I have never fished Green Bay so any suggestions would be great.

    tjm,
Don’t know about the bay but I fish little bay de noc in the fall (nov) at night and it is increadible. Its a trolling bite and due to the water clarity it is pretty much a total night deal. lead core and shallow running cranks like reef runners, 7in rapalas, bombers, rouges all will catch fish. I usually fish sundown to 2-3 in the morning and 15-25 fish night are pretty common. lots of 22-26 inch fish with some real giants swimin around. I know in sept and oct the cedar river area usually sees a bite and that’s a little further south than little bay other than that I wont be much help. feel free to pm if you want more info. Good luck man

Thanks for the input on Bay De Noc. Years ago I was fishing in Manitoba and some guys from WI were telling me about the fall bite on Green Bay. Trolling shallow 8-12′ for giant walleyes. I should have got more info.
