Big Round Polk county motel

    Looking for a clean comfortable room for my bro, myself and nephew. Turtle Lake is not desirable with a boat load of gear. Any suggestions and Thanks for the help!

    Cumberland has two motels 25 min from Big Round

    Few options would be
    Forrest Inn, Amery (soth side of town & about 20 minute drive to Round). Small clean Motel

    Another might be the Balcksmith shop. Never seen inside of Motel rooms, but have heard they are okay. Definetely Rural and closer to Round. This is loacted on CTY RD I

    There are a couple others I won’t mention. I don’t want to get barred from my favorite site because of giving a fellow member some really bad advice.

    If you get to town of Balsam lake, and you like Pizza, make sure to try Docs on main street south end of town.
    Maybe the best Pizza in northern WI IMHO.

    Thanks for the tips Mike, I checked out the Blacksmith shop and will stay there. Its just an over nighter hitting BR then off to Long Lake in Washburn county for a couple days. Might run into Larry the cable guy as he spends the summer with his family two house’s up from our location

    As a follow up, the Blacksmith was clean and comfortable and they had a fish cleaning station , and a bar with great pizza. $70 for the three of us, I will be back

    Mike can you really judge a motel if your only in it an hour at a time?
