I’m taking the family there next weekend for a camping trip and was just wondering if anyone had any fishing knowledge/tips for shore fishing or fishing from a canoe for walleye or crappies in that area? I’m not looking for your secret spot or anything 
just a general idea on where or what to use. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully we luck out with some good weather! 
High water and early summer should make the back waters around the campground prime for panfish and gamefish. The pond on the inside of the park should also being doing well for gils and crappie and some pike. High water might make the river up by the dam tough because it is so open, I would stick around the park backwater areas
