Bass fishing is HOT!!!! on the Chetek chain!!! Whether you prefer fishing pre-spawn or spawners (bed activity is near peak), the patterns are there. I fished from 6am to 10:30am this morning and I sure wish it had been a tournament. I caught 12 fish that bumped, and my largest 5 were just a hair over 22 lbs. What a blast! This is the earliest I have seen a big time algae bloom but dang it was fun.
