    What lakes are open now? What lakes are close to being open?

    Well, the river down by Winona has been open for like a month now if that helps. Lake Winona isn’t open though, and if Lake Winona isn’t open I have a tough time imagining anything without current in it is anywhere close to being melted.

    While up north this weekend I concluded there’s no way many lakes will be ice free on opener. Most looked exactly like they did 2 months ago. Even our flowage was not clear.
