Crappies are active. Me and my brother picked up 22 the other day. Nice 10 1/2″ -11″ inchers. They are suspended about 2 ft. off in 12 ft. of water. Got out about 7:30 and they were still hitting when we left at 11:30. Northland Fire Eye Grubs in Pink/Glow with a couple spikes sealed the deal. Small whitebass were right on the bottom. They were scattered and it did take some drill work to find them.
When I get done with this sub teaching job, let me know when you are going to go back down, I would love to meet ya down there just to catch them out of that lake, not even harvest them!!!

Lucky you!!! I gotta work on Friday and do a BBall game Friday night. Sat. a fishing tourney in Mercer, then bartending @ Fibbers.. Good luck fishing a great body of water!!!
