Creek Chubs and Shiners

    with the long weekend coming, I was looking to catching my self some creek chubs or shiners to use as bait. Does any one know any spots about 1 hour away from La Crosse that has them?

    all the creeks west of Rochester are FULL of them

    yep, i live in Byron (just west of rochester) and they are everywhere.. in all sizes!

    Double check to see if you’re on a trout stream. Can’t take minnows from designated water.

    Make sure you know where you are going to fish with them!!! In WI you can only use bait taken from the same body of water…
