Has anyone been out fishing for steelhead yet. I was hoping to make a trip up to the Brule this year and was wondering if they have started to run. Any info would be great!!!!!!

http://www.bruleriversportsmansclub.comThere are plenty of fish around but the temps have been cold and they have been slow. I’ve been up a couple times and will be back this weekend. The warmer temps should be getting them going.

April 22, 2004 at 3:28 am #301998The Brule run is in full swing. We have been averaging 4 to 6 fish per outing with a 30 incher this past Fri. The rivers are quite high though with our recent rains. Should be in good shape by the weekend.
