All the St. Croixs that i have had have been worth it. they are made great and have good feeling. I use a glass rod mainly for my crankin’. I am not sure what your dad used but there some for sale in recent posts that should work for your pops.

I have fished St Croix rods for muskies and they are worth the extra bucks. Good feel and workmanship.

He currently has a mojo and does not really like much. He says that it isn’t sensitive enough for his liking. He wants a rod for weightless worms, so he wants a lot of sensitivity.

I’ve got 3 6ft9in MLXF legend tournament bass series rods. I love them. An extreme wouldn’t be a bad idea either. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Well worth the money!! Look at the classifieds I know Tom G put a few in there today that would be a great price for what your looking for. Otherwise talk to 4 seasons they seem to have you covered!… The other option is to go custom..

St.croix’s are nice for sure. I only have a couple premiers, but if I had some money to spend right now I would pick up some legend tournament bass or avids in a heart beat.
Also, you can buy rods that are actually made in the USA! (yes i know some models are made in mexico)

Most of the biggest rod companies in the industry have their rods mass produced in china or korea, and still charge ridiculous prices.

If you have two months you could pick up the rod from me at Everts Resort or anywhere in the area w/o a shipping charge as soon as April 16…The LTBC 69MLXF is essentially a new rod as it has never been on the water.
No matter where you buy one from their Warrantees/Gold Star coverage is darn good and the rods fish great! Your Dad won’t be dissappointed…

If you are near Parks Falls Wi. you can pick up factory seconds at half price sometimes. They had clothing and other things too.

The XF actions give the best sensitivity, and they also are great for casting weight-less or light-weight presentations. I tried my AVS69MLXF but for bass it
doesn’t quite have the power to pull them out of cover quickly. The AVS68MXF is better suited for that – but I generally like more power whereas other guys might prefer more finesse.

The Avid series is a noticeable step up from Premier or Mojo in performance. For the non-tournament guy, I think that’s a great value and no need for the expensive Legends. Though if you can afford a Legend, I’m sure he’ll love it.
